On May 3, 2024, the Social Service Department of the Rhenish Church participated for the first time in the S+ Summit and Expo 2024, organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The event took place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai and showcased a variety of innovative services. The themes of the summit were "Synergy," "Social Impact," and "Sustainability," with the goal of promoting collaboration within the industry and advancing sustainable development in Hong Kong.

Our booth attracted numerous industry and corporate leaders, as well as representatives from social service organizations and technology companies. We focused on showcasing expressive arts therapy, residential services, and the application of gerontechnology, including the services offered by the Joyful Club of Kwai Shing East Rhenish Care & Attention Home. Visitors also had the opportunity to experience two gerontechnology products: the "COTRAS-P Cognitive Assessment Software" and the "ORIORI Smart Grip Training Ball." This led to engaging exchanges and discussions with guests from various fields.

The Chairman of the Social Services Department, along with partners from the Caring Company, attended to express their support and explore further collaboration opportunities with visitors. We look forward to working together with all sectors to foster social innovation and promote sustainable development in the future.
