The Social services department of Rhenish Church launched the "Career Navigation Scheme" in 2023, in collaboration with secondary schools and churches under the Rhenish Church HK Synod. This program aims to provide young participants with workplace internship opportunities, broadening their horizons and preparing them for future career planning.

We are considering the views of various sectors to better meet the needs of young people. We continue to implement the second edition of the "Career Navigation Scheme 2.0,"  this year, with 15 students from different secondary schools and churches participating. The program included career introduction, visit activities, and work internships. Each participant will be paired with a mentor, and they will be required to set goals, with guidance and assessment provided by the mentor. We hope that each participant to have more realistic experience in the workplace and to prepare them for the future.

The Closing Ceremony for the Career Navigation Scheme 2.0 was held on August 24, 2024. A total of 47 guests attended, including the chairman and vice-chairman of Social service department, deputy principal, vice-principals, teachers, students, parents, and service users, all coming together to witness the students' sharing and growth, providing support and affirmation.
