Shatin Rhenish Neighbourhood Elderly Centre cooperated with Foodlink and Green in Sha Tin to hold an "Elderly Environmental Workshop," encouraging everyone to donate surplus or unappetizing food to families or elderly in need of food assistance, reducing food waste while promoting food rescue and waste reduction during festivals, so that useful resources can be shared in the community.

On that day, in addition to distributing blessing bags, eco-friendly lectures and workshops were prepared for the elderly to participate, allowing to make practical and waste-reducing eco-friendly products themselves, experiencing that source reduction is not difficult at all.
