Term of Office 

  • Chairman of the Synod - two years per term. The Chairman can be re-elected but not for more than three consecutive terms.
  • Pastor of the Synod - two years per term. The Pastor can be re-elected but not for more than three consecutive terms.
  • Board Chairman and Vice-chairman - one year per term. Both can be re-elected but not for more than three consecutive terms for the same position.　
  • Each Board member shall hold office beginning on the date of appointment until the Synod Committee appoints the board members for the new term in the following year. The appointed board members can be re-elected, but not for more than six terms.
